Lee Canyon is the ski area on Mount Charleston, and in the warm months it runs a lift-served downhill bike park. Lee Canyon calls it Southern Nevada’s only lift-serviced downhill mountain bike park and says it’s about 45 minutes from downtown Las Vegas. It also says temperatures there run at least 30 degrees cooler than the valley, which is the whole point in July.
2026 dates and hours
The regular season is over, but Lee Canyon added fall bonus weekends: Friday to Sunday, October 23–25 and October 30–November 1, 2026. The Bluebird chair runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Lee Canyon says all trails are open. The ticket office and rental shop open at 9:45 a.m.
The trails
| Trail | Rating | What Lee Canyon says |

| Fear and Flowing | Blue | Fast and smooth, optional air |
| Gonzo | Blue (jumps) | Jump line with machine-built turns |
| Snake Eyes | Black | Hand-dug singletrack, steep and technical |
| Hard Eight | Double black | Freeride: big jumps and drops, experts only |
Tickets
Buy lift tickets online in advance. Lee Canyon says prices vary with demand and can go up over time, and you can exchange a ticket online up to the night before. Online mountain bike tickets include a $10 resort credit, emailed on the day of your visit and good only that day.
Rentals and lessons
The rental shop is next to ticketing in the main base area. Lee Canyon lists $69 for an adult bike and $49 for a youth bike, with a helmet and elbow and knee pads included. The lift ticket is extra. The fleet is full-suspension bikes from Trek and Rossignol with Fox protective gear. Reserve ahead: walk-ups aren’t guaranteed on busy weekends. First-timers can book Experience Downhill, a guided program on the green trail.
Food and drinks
On the bonus weekends, Lee Canyon lists the Bristlecone Bar open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Brewin’ Burro café open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday to Sunday. See rider stops for other places to stop on the way.
Getting there
Take US-95 north to Lee Canyon Road (State Route 156) and follow it up the mountain. If you want to pedal trails rather than ride lifts, read what’s open on Mount Charleston first: much of the mountain is wilderness, where bikes aren’t allowed.
